I’m happy to officially announce the launch of MammothApps, a WordPress development studio founded by John Kolbert. MammothApps specializes in high-end, feature rich web applications and custom plugins built on the WordPress CMS framework. We offer a whole suite of WordPress related services, including custom plugins, complete web application development, full-service consulting, and on-site training. You can view a complete list of our services here.
Why the name MammothApps for our studio? It was chosen because here at MammothApps we like to focus on larger scale projects and plugins. The type of plugins and websites that require some heavy planning, database interaction, ingenuity, and user interaction. Sure we do general consulting like every other company, but here at MammothApps we enjoy talking large scale (mammoth, if you will) projects. Bring ‘em on.
MammothApps is basically a one-man shop, with John personally completing the vast majority of all jobs. John does the client interaction, planning, coding, delivery, and billing. Occasionally, when a client has an imminent deadline or a complex set of requirements, MammothApps will recruit other talented developers for that particular project. At the conclusion of that project, these developers disband and will re-group if needed for a future project.
Aside from serving as the online presnece of MammothApps, this website will be home to WordPress tutorials that will help other WordPress developers and users. We call these “MammothTips”. You can expect a few MammothTips a month, along with other company news and announcements.
Want to make sure you don’t miss a thing? Here’s how! You can also subscribe to our newsletter where you’ll get 1-2 emails per month containing only the MammothTips and other important news (such as major plugin releases by MammothApps). You can subscribe to our RSS feed to get all the latest blog posts. And finally, follow us on Twitter to get instant updates on all things Mammoth!
